We have a selection of mortgages available from from all the key providers in the Irish market. You can view the list of mortgage products we use.

What do we charge for our services?

Mortgages Direct may charge an administration fee for arranging your mortgage. This fee (if any) will be agreed at the beginning of our relationship with you.

Who regulates us?

Parkborough Ltd t/a Mortgages Direct is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.


Mortgages Direct has a written procedure for handling customer complaints. We aim to resolve all complaints as quickly as possible. We will acknowledge all written complaints within 5 days, and if your complaint cannot be resolved quickly, we will update you on progress every four weeks.

If you are dissatisfied with the way we have handled your complaint, you may refer your complaint to the Financial Services Ombudsman, PO Box 9138, College Green, Dublin 2 or call 1890 200 469.

Consumer Protection

Mortgages Direct is a member of the Investor Compensation Scheme Ltd established under the Investor Compensation Act 1998. The legislation provides for the establishment of a compensation scheme and to the payment in certain circumstances, of compensation to clients of firms covered by the Act.

However you should also be aware that a right to compensation would only arise where money or investment instruments held by this Company on your behalf cannot be returned either for the time being or for the foreseeable future and where the client falls within the definition of eligible investor as contained in the Act.

In the event that a right to compensation is established, the amount payable is the lesser of 90% of the clients loss, which is recognised as being eligible for compensation or €20,000. Mortgages Direct also holds Professional Indemnity insurance of €1,500,000 in total.
